Birthday Cake for Breakfast

At least once a year it's important to have birthday cake for breakfast. It keeps you young. Here's a picture of us out on my birthday. That's Kevin with face of shock and awe. He organized the whole thing and it all came together so nicely. You'll see the gorgeous chocolate chantilly cake with decorated with fresh gerbera daisies and organic soy candles. I had a massive knife to cut the cake and people were afraid I was going to kill someone if we didn't get the rose prosecco in time.

I am so blessed with wonderful friends. We had a lovely time. My newest friends and my oldest friends were there. We went to Casseus, this adorable cheese shop and bistro in New Haven. The main reason I went there is because they have my friend Emily's cheese from Twig Farm http://twigfarm.blogspot.com/, but I keep going back because they are really lovely people and everything is delicious.

What did the yogini want for her birthday? No gifts, only presence. (That said, I did ask for a few things and I got a bunch of great presents and a fabulous party.)
